Out on tour in support of his new mostly acoustic solo album Several Shades of Why, guitar-slinging Dinosaur Jr frontman J Mascis hauled his acoustic up to the studios of Minneapolis’ 89.3 The Current to perform a trio of songs live on the air earlier this month. You can stream that set — featuring “Listen to Me” and “Several Shades of Why,” the first two songs on the new disc, plus “Little Fury Things,” the opening track of 1987’s You’re Living All Over Me — via the player embedded below.
