Tonight’s “Dark Wave” — the weekly Sunday night “darker side of alternative” show on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave — featured a rare guest host, in the form of skateboard legend Tony Hawk, who, prior going on the air, tweeted he would be “playing music us weirdos were listening to while you were at the bitchin’ kegger.” So what did he play? A lot of the standard “Dark Wave” fare, plus some rarely heard Fields of the Nephilim, The Sisterhood and Throbbing Gristle.
“Dark Wave” airs Sundays from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern/7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pacific.
