Back in October, The Church — currently celebrating its 30th anniversary with new reissues and a tour of its homeland — was inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association Hall of Fame. At the induction ceremony in Sydney, the band performed its 1988 crossover hit “Under the Milky Way,” seen above, plus its 1986 single “Tantalized,” which can be viewed below along with Steve Kilbey’s rambling 15-minute acceptance speech.
