Just a quick reminder: Slicing Up Eyeballs will debut a brand-new weekly specialty show Tuesday night on Strangeways Radio, a commercial-free web outlet devoted to “taking alternative back.” The hour-long show — titled, naturally, “Slicing Up Eyeballs” — will stream online at 10 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Pacific every Tuesday, with re-broadcasts slated to air at 2 p.m. Eastern/noon Pacific every Friday.
Just like this site, the show will spotlight the classic indie, post-punk, synthpop and alternative music of the college-rock era, while also tracking the output of those ’80s-spawned artists and their various offshoots throughout the ’90s, ’00s and beyond.
