Time, once again, to check in with “Dark Wave,” the ever-popular Sunday night show on Sirius XM’s alt-’80s outlet 1st Wave. Bookended by a pair of great Depeche Mode tracks, this week’s show was a strong one, featuring some very early Cure (“Another Day”), a rare appearance by Oingo Boingo (“Pain”) and a blast of Skinny Puppy (“Smothered Hope”)… plus not one but two appearances by Puscifier, apparently the lone post-’80s act allowed on “Dark Wave.”
“Dark Wave” airs each Sunday from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern/7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pacific.
