Time, once again, to check in with Beck and his Record Club cohorts — St. Vincent, Liars and Os Mutantes — as they continue to work through their full-album cover of INXS’ 1987 smash Kick. This week brings us to “Never Tear Us Apart,” the lighters-in-the-air power ballad that served as the album’s fourth hit single. On this cover, St. Vincent’s Annie Clark handles vocals, singing over a gentle accompaniment provided by violin, tinkling piano, acoustic guitar and electric bass.
