The Pet Shop Boys will issue two previously unreleased tracks recorded in the early 2000s on a limited-edition 7-inch single as part of the U.K. installment of Record Store Day next Saturday. The A side of the Parlophone single — limited to 1,000 copies and available only in the U.K. — will feature “Love Life,” a previously unreleased track from 2001 that became a pop hit for Swedish group Alcazar (see video below). The B side features “A Powerful Friend,” another previously unissued track from 2002 that features the work of Release tour guitarists Bic Hayes and Mark Refoy.
