After touring the U.S. last year in a somewhat odd paring with the Happy Mondays, New Wave icons Psychedelic Furs return to North America from late May through early July with a 27-date club tour.
Richard Butler and Co. will open the trek May 27 in Orlando, Fla., and then cross the U.S. — dipping into Canada for a show in Toronto in early June — before wrapping up with a trio of Texas dates in late June and early July.
After splitting in the early ’90s, the Furs reunited in 2000 and have toured periodically since then. However, in large part because the band has no official Web presence, it’s difficult to tell whether the group is working on any kind of follow-up to 1991’s World Outside.

“However, in large part because the band has no official Web presence,”
The Psychedelic Furs do have an official Facebook page (and have periodically label/management-run sites), but the primary source for Furs news over the past 10 years has been Burned Down Days:
http://www.burneddowndays.com/
Although the site is “officially unofficial”, all of my news and information comes directly from the band and their management. Anything that they wish to convey in an official manner (i.e. definitive plans/dates/etc.) is directly relayed through BDD.
The lack of solid information about a new album has nothing to do with their lack of a website with an “official” stamp on it.
Certainly meant no offense — merely that it’s pretty unusual these days for a band not to have an official website.

No offense taken, just clarifying!
You might want to check the site, btw – there have been a bunch of changes to the schedule since you posted this.
