Pet Shop Boys’ Pandemonium Tour returns to the UK this summer for 5 more shows

The Pet Shop Boys not only released their new Pandemonium live CD/DVD package in the UK this week — just two months after it was filmed in London — but the duo also announced the concert film’s namesake tour will play a five-date encore in England this summer. Tickets go on sale Friday for the brief UK trek, which runs from July 13 to 23 and hits parts of the country not visited during the 2009 portion of the Pandemonium Tour, cities such as Blackpool, Bournemouth and Newcastle. The Pet Shop Boys also will play the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona, Spain, on May 29; that fest’s bill also includes Pixies, Pavement and The Fall.
