There hasn’t been much noise out of the Soundgarden camp since Chris Cornell announced via Twitter on New Year’s Day that the grunge giants would reform in 2010. That may be about to change: The Daily Swarm, citing “multiple industry sources,” tonight reports Soundgarden will headline this summer’s Lollapalooza alongside Green Day and Lady Gaga. So far, no word out of the festival, which runs Aug. 6-8 in Chicago.
