Former Depeche Mode keyboardist Alan Wilder has revealed the tracklist and cover art for Selected, the recently announced best-of compilation from his solo electronic project Recoil. The 14-track disc — which has been “carefully edited” and “lovingly remastered” — is due in “April or May,” and also will come in a 2CD edition with a disc of remixes. Wilder also is planning Recoil “events,” including a few with Nitzer Ebb, but cautions, “It’s important to stress that what’s planned is a presentation of Recoil, not a concert.”

Nice artwork, decent compilation, though I feel Alan left off a couple of gems – the title track from Bloodline, and Incubus (track 1) from Unsound Methods. I love seeing NE and DM members working together (and am envious of the current DM Euro Tour, we were stuck with Peter, Bjorn and John last year). Last year’s Nitzer Ebb show was great, I’m glad they’re back.
