Reissue of Duran Duran spinoff Arcadia’s ‘So Red the Rose’ delayed until April

Arcadia, 'So Red the Rose'

The expanded 2CD/1DVD reissue of the lone album from mid-’80s Duran Duran spinoff Arcadia has been pushed back two months so it follows the new editions of Duran Duran and Seven and the Ragged Tiger due out in March. Originally slated for a Feb. 8 release, the reissue of Arcadia’s 1985 debut So Red the Rose is now due in April, according to Duran Duran’s website, “to keep the reissues in chronological order.” Although the band doesn’t offer an exact date, Eil.com shows an April 12 release.

  1. Shame, is it remastered/mixed or a straight reissue. Check out a great article about Indie music over the last decade here http://bit.ly/7e2SfY some really great bands are featured.

  2. Duran Duran’s last album, Red Carpet Massacre, was an absolute abomination. Terrible. Who wants to see a bunch of guys in their late 40’s making urban/hip hop crap with Timbaland and Justin Timberlake?

These guys are really losing it. It seems all they have left are reissues of their classic albums. They need to make a ‘back to the roots’ post-punk album like they did from 81 – 83. They haven’t put out anything worth a damn since ‘A View To a Kill’, with the exception of ‘Ordinary World’…

  3. Your having me on Will….right. The guys have done some great stuff since there heyday. Great tracks on The Wedding Album, Big Thing, Pop Trash. Stop living in the past mate…Do yourself a favour and go and listen.

  4. These members of Duran Duran are the best ever I enjoy hearing and seeing them perform till this day. It’s sad to see Andy Taylor leave the band again. I would like to hear a new album of all DD2, with Nile Rodgers there former producer. I wish them all the best!
