Seems like old times: Depeche Mode today announced that reformed electronic/industrial duo Nitzer Ebb will open 23 European dates in January and February on the synthpop juggernaut’s ongoing Tour of the Universe.
The double bill — which runs from Jan. 9 in Berlin through Feb. 27 in Dusseldorf, Germany — is a reprise of the European leg of DM’s Music for the Masses
As previously reported, Nitzer Ebb, which reunited in 2006 after more than a decade apart, has completed a new album, although a release date and format has not yet been announced. Prior to the Depeche Mode dates, the group will embark on an extensive North American tour in November and December.
