As threatened, indie-rock legends Sonic Youth took to the tube last night, making an appearance on teen soap “Gossip Girl” to perform “Starpower” off 1986’s EVOL.
Slicing Up Eyeballs is not going to pretend to know what’s going on plot-wise here, other than the fact that SY is appearing as a wedding band and Kim Gordon is the ceremony’s officiant.
