A note about requests. I’ve been traveling the last two weeks, and because of that, recorded the last three shows fairly early and without being able to use newer requests. So any requests left in the last few weeks haven’t been considered yet, but I will begin to next Sunday, and then probably sprinkle them throughout the next few shows.
Excellent episode tonight! Can you play New Order – Crystal next Sunday?
Goodnight!
Liked the duets from Almond/Sue and then Howard/Lunch. But I have to give it to Hour 2 with the Concrete Blonde/Snake Corps/Sisters set. Great show.
Have you ever played Super Heroines on the show? I can’t recall if you have or not. I’ll throw out a request for them on an upcoming episode then. “Remembering Love”, “Black Wedding”, or “Chasing Bars” maybe.
Thanks for the music. Have a good week.
Matt: Great work as always! Look forward to tuning in every week! Next time you string together an industrial ‘block’: would be very cool to hear “Abbatoir” by X Marks The Pedwalk. Cheers!
How about a second round for:
Cabaret Voltaire – Sensoria
Virgin Prunes – Pagan Love Song or Baby Turns Blue
Thank you!
You started out your second decade with a real bang. Some fantastic cuts.
Matt- Enjoyed all three hours and cannot say one hour was far better than the other. Nice work!
Enjoyed the covers and the double dose of NE.
Looking forward to this Sunday’s DW!
Rainy episode.
This week’s Darkness Award:
The Rose of Avalanche, “L.A. Rain”
“the skies are black and the sun don’t shine”
Great show yesterday!
I bet you can’t play something from Throbbing Gristle.
That would be awesome if you did!
You’re the best, Matt! I may be late to the party, but I’m glad the be here for it! Happy 2nd decade!
Crank Call Love Affair:”What’s Wrong Yvette”
I too can’t pick a winning hour this week, all three were just fantastic. Somehow you managed to play my fave tracks from Love and Rockets, New Order, Joy Division, and a killer Cure b-side in addition to Cult Hero, wow! And “The Game,” I would have loved to have heard that track live a few weeks back.
Have a great week, cheers!
Perhaps you would play “The Anal Staircase (Dionysian Remix)” by COIL
Hey Matt, can you play
KMFDM-Virus
amazing collection of recent shows great job on the 10 yr anniversary show.
always happy with more Japan or David Sylvian
the ambience of this show is soothing to many
Night Shift (live) from Siouxsie and the banshees would be great for Halloween listening. Thx!
Really loved this week’s line up! I’d
Love to hear Carolyn’s Finger by Cocteau Twins. a Sirius uses it in bumpers all day long but never play the whole song!
