Awesome set tonight, The Lucy Show track is a new favorite for sure. Classic NIN is just good, cannot deny it. Make Ministry synthpop again, right? And then that extra funky version of Kooler than Jesus? Thank you. Misfits don’t get represented as much as maybe they should, so could we hear:
Misfits- Come Back
Please and thank you for making Sunday nights something to look forward to.
Another top shelf show tonight. Could we get Curves Split Into Fractions on an upcoming show? Thanks Matt.
Can you dig up “Kyoto Song” by the Cure for next Sunday’s show? Thanx!
^^^ This ^^^
Excellent show tonight, Matt!
Solid show this evening. Hard to call it between Hours 2 and 3. Though the Peter Murphy/Lucy Show/Chameleon cuts make a case for Hour 1 too.
For next week, I’d like to request some Little Nemo. Maybe “Sandcastle”, “The Joker”, or “Blue Years”.
Thanks for the great show. Have a good week.
Hi Matt Can I Please Hear A Deep Track By The Cure called “Sadacic”(Olympic Studio RS Demo 12/83) please Loved the songs by The Chameleons, The Lucy Show, The Jesus And Mary Chain

Can I Hear “Kill Surf City” by The Jesus And Mary Chain please thanx
Is there a chance i can hear a song from Silence Of The Lambs
“Goodbye Horses” — Q Lazzarus
If so that would be lovely
Wow! you hit all my favorites this week, Light pours out of me, Sanctified, Mexican Moon and Monitor. That was a helluva treat to hear all three tonight.
Athamay – “Falling” *PLEEEEEASE!!* with a on top!!!!!
https://youtu.be/0q-bpFGf0YA
Doh! Cherry on top, emoji didn’t worry, move on to the next one troopers!!!
Another great show! I’d like to request “Resurrection Joe” by The Cult
YES!
Thanks matt. Love your show. Can I here DepecheMode Black Celebration that’s sampled in the promo’s? Thanks.
Where Eagles Dare!
Thanks for that….one of my all time fave Misfits tracks. Any chance we could hear Jo The Waiter by Gary Numan?
Thanks!
For next week’s show I’d like to request Killing Joke ‘Fun and Games.’
Btw thanks for playing my New Order request a few weeks ago.
Thanks for playing Rivers, Matt! Great show!
Solid show! Lots of variety and darkness.
Here are some requests –
Executive Slacks – Our Lady
And anything from Gang of Four in remembrance of Andy Gill. Can’t believe it’s been two years now.
Thanks!
Is it just my imagination, or am I hearing The Chameleons more often? Love it!
In light of the way the world is going, maybe The Bolshoi “Books on the Bonfire”?
I listen from my own library often, but there’s something about sharing (and maybe some validation).
~ Veronica
As always, an amazing job Matt! I’d like to point out to other fans that The Lucy Show, And Also The Trees, and For Against have rereleased back catalogue items available on their respective Bandcamp pages. You’re welcome!!
Oops…can I request “Belong Nowhere” by The Fatima Mansions and “Acid Drops” by Public Image Ltd.?
Matt- I really enjoyed hour 3 this week. If you showed me the band list from each hour and no song title, I would have picked hour 1 without a doubt. I used to listen to Rodney on the Roq Sunday evenings and would be introduced to new bands at the time like Jesus and Marychain, Strawberry Switchblade and Flesh for Lulu. Just want to say, keep up the amazing work my friend.
Gary Numan – Remember I Was Vapour
What a treat your shows are Matt. Truly. It gives us something to look forward to each and every week!! ❤️
Some possible suggestions for next time:
Lush – Ladykillers
Duran Duran – The Chauffeur
Furniture – Brilliant Mind
For Against is new to me. Thanks!
Can we hear Judy’s World off the Eurogliders’ album This Island, please?
Your playlists are always THE best. I love my Sunday nights because you make me dance even if it is just me and my dogs. Lol
I’d love to hear my favorite Peter Murphy song, “I spit roses” because seriously, it is brilliant. Thank you so much! May the black clothing be with you…
Hi Matt, I was wondering if I could hear Comsat Angels’ Will You Stay Tonight? Thank you!
You covered it all in this episode.
This week’s Darkness Award:
Public Image Ltd., “Covered”
“I give I give
I give I give I give I give, big girls
I give I give
I give I give I give I give, big joys
I give I give
I give I give I give I give, big toys”
Another great show last Sunday, Matt. In all sincerity and honesty, your show is BY FAR the best New Wave/Dark Wave program on the airwaves. Probably too late for requests on this Sunday, February 6 but if you can slip in something in line with last month’s tribute to Black History, how about a nod to James Ray and The Performance’s “A New Kind of Assassin”? Or for all of us suffering from our broken Administration and those who live in the blue states still supporting it, I’d suggest from, again, James Ray, “New Mexico Sundown Blues”, or Sisters of Mercy’s “Black Planet.” Cheers from Arizona, and keep up the fine work!
Great Show! Would love to request 1 or both of my Fav Cure songs
1st Exploding Boy
2nd Harold and Joe
Thanks
Great show as always! Late to requesting for this week’s cutoff, but in the future I’d love to hear a few of these tunes:
American Nightmare OR Violent World by the Misfits
Sex Voodoo Venus by Helios Creed
Beheaded by the Offspring
Seconds by Human League (you played this last year and it blew my mind, I’d never heard it before.)
Thanks!
