Hi Matt,
Love your show. Hearing bands/songs I’ve never of before like Pig, tonight. Could you play “To Have and To Hold” by Depeche Mode? It flies under the radar in my opinion, yet one of their darkest and heaviest songs. Love it. Thanks man.
Great episode tonight! I loved the new Clan of Xymox.
I‘d love to hear X-mal Deutschland‘s „Mondlicht“ (1984)
Great show, liked hearing some deep cuts like that Death Ride 69 track! Some suggestions for next week:
The Monochrome Set – The Lighter Side of Dating
Human Sexual Response – Marone Offering
Fugazi – Waiting Room
Totally agree on DMs To Have and to Hold. One of my favorites from MFTM.
Get the Balance Right is from ‘Catching Up with Depeche Mode’ not CTA
Great set! Hadn’t heard of clan of Xymox and loved it! Thanks for playing PIG! In honor of Kraftwerk announcing tour dates, could you play something from them?
Thanks for spins last night, Matt! Really enjoyed the new Xymox and a nice touch to close out on Ride.
Here are a couple requests for a DW in the near future –
Killing Joke – Complications
Chris & Cosey – Morning
Thanks as always!
Great show Matt! xx
I have no request this week, but thanks for playing my request from last week…”A Strange Kind Of Live”!
Possessed, strobe light dancing episode!
This week’s Darkness Award:
Bauhaus, “Stigmata Martyr”
“Judy…Rodger, where you going? – The party’s just begun.”
Request for future show:
Nitzer Ebb, “Violent Playground”
Great show. Phillip Boa and VoodooClub and the Gun Club song were highlights. And thanks for the Snake Corps.
This might be outside the usual, but could I request Fuzzbox ‘Love Is The Slug’ off We’ve Got a Fuzzbox and We’re Not Afraid to Use It (or something like that).
Thanks. I appreciate all the great music.
Always love Get The Balance Right.
Maybe something from Blurt next week. Poppycock is a good one.
Ever thought about doing an all cover set, or all cover show? I’ll toss in a few requests to get you started :)
Save A Prayer – Eagles of Death Metal
Major Tom – Shiny Toy Guns
Great show! Black Houses threw me ’cause I must have skipped over that back in the day but it’s really good.
This week, hear me out .. Haircut 100 ‘Baked Bean’. Give it a listen and you’ll agree.
Thanks!
Great show this week! Back on Sirius on a trial and the show is definitely best thing on there! Would love to hear anything from December flowers, pigface, virgin prunes, secret cervix, deep eynde, sweet convulsions.
Thanks again!!!
Another great show,Matt.Really enjoyed Ride. Could you play something by the all female group Curve or my bloody valentine? Thanks.
Thank you! Great to hear some Boa again (never enough). And how about Cabaret Voltaire “Yashar”.
Men At Work-Down By The Sea
