  1. Cool show. Nice NIN pick, Broken is badass. Also always happy to hear Killing Joke, seeing them for the first time in November.

Still throwin’ Dink’s “Angels” out there for next week.

  2. Hi Matt, loved the This Mortal Coil – I really need to listen through their albums again, it’s been a while. As it is near the end of September, how about Young Gods – September Song? I know you love a good cover

  3. Hi Matt, I loved hearing Poptone and clock dva.

  4. Great show tonight Matt. Hoping you can play Adorable “Homeboy”.

  5. Hizbollah

  6. Thanks for the great show and always love hearing Sister Europe.

As far as playing my request, thanks. However, I think that Never Land (A Fragment) was played instead of Driven Like the Snow. This actually also happened on the 6/3/18 show as well. Driven Like the Snow and Gimme Shelter are my absolute favorite Sisters of Mercy songs.

Here is a link to Driven Like the Snow:

Maybe this can be played on some future show. Dark Wave is still the best radio show by far. I wish SiriusXM would add a Dark Wave channel!

    • I’ve noticed the same thing as you, Jeff. I’m wondering if maybe there’s something messed up with the tracklist for the “Floodland” album – maybe “Dominion” and “Mother Russia” got split up into two separate tracks or something like that, and it threw the rest of the album off?

    • Thanks. I’ll look into it. It’s entirely possible the songs are mislabeled. It happened before, in fact, with Flood I and Flood II.

  7. Not sure if it’s in your wheelhouse but I’ve always liked “ Help Us/Save Us/Take Us Away” or “Vogue” by KMFDM …

  8. Nice playlist as always! Some suggestions for next week:

    Skinny Puppy – Dogshit
    Numb – God Is Dead
The Klinik – Face To Face

  9. nice list. I am looking for a song that you hear “praise jesus” mixed in on the “beatmix” in the morning….I know there is one song I believe by ministry with this…is there another song that u are aware of with this in it??

  10. Great stuff last night, Matt! Happy to hear the Poptone version of “Go!”, then followed by the live BBC version of PiL’s “Poptones” right after! Also, always happy to hear Suicide!

Here are some requests for a possible future Dark Wave –

Love and Rockets – Mirror People
Samhain – In My Grip (or anything Glenn Danzig-related, just to officially ring in the Fall season)

    Thanks as always!

  11. Excellent ending to the show. Suggestions for next week :

Peter Murphy-The Light Pours Out of Me (original version).
David J-Stranded Trans Atlantic Hotel Nearly Famous Blues
    Daniel Ash – Coming Down
    Bauhaus – Passion of Lovers
    Tones on Tail – Instrumental

  12. Jaime Palacios

  16. Great show, it’s the only reason I have SiriusXM subscription! Requesting Sleepwalking (On the High Wire) by Siouxsie & the Banshees and The Exploding Boy by The Cure :)

  17. Andrew Hurtado

Hi Matt, been listening for years now….only reason why I have SiriusXM. Look forward to my Sunday nights because of you. Thank you! Can you play “Dusk is a Dagger” by The Frozen Autumn. Cheers from Chicago!
