The Dead Milkmen will follow up their 2014 album Pretty Music For Pretty People this fall with a brand new EP titled Welcome to the End of the World, to be released on vinyl and digital formats with 50 percent of all after-tax profits being donated to Girls Rock Philly.
There’s no exact release date, and no tracklist has yet been revealed, but the band is taking pre-orders for the EP on yellow vinyl (first edition limited to 500 copies) and 180-gram black vinyl (first edition also limited to 500 copies) via the new label The Giving Groove.
The donation to Girls Rock Philly is part of the label’s model; 50 percent of after-tax profits go to the artist, and the other 50 percent go to a music-related nonprofit group of the artist’s choosing.
Since reuniting around 2008, the Milkmen have released two studio albums and a string of 7-inch singles.
