Fans in the Twin Cities won’t be the only ones to get a standalone, non-festival show out of The Replacements this fall: The reunited college-rock legends today announced they’ll headline Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, N.Y., a 17,000-seat venue that was home to the U.S. Open Tennis Championships for decades.
The Sept. 19 show by the ‘Mats will feature openers The Hold Steady and Deer Tick. Tickets, $59.50, go on sale 11 a.m. EDT Saturday via Ticketfly.com.
