Android users: Your long national nightmare is over, as today we launch the much-requested Android version of the handy Slicing Up Eyeballs app, perhaps the easiest way to stay on top of the latest album and reissue news, tour dates, streaming music and video content both new and delightfully vintage from all of your favorite ’80s college-rock and alternative artists.
Like the iPhone app we debuted last year — and which is still available (hint, hint) — the Android counterpart was developed by DJ Mikey from Strangeways Radio and John Koerner, and it conveniently displays this website’s posts in a simple and easy-to-read format.
And like the iPhone version, the app is ad-free and costs just 99 cents, proceeds of which help pay for its development and support the work we do here every day.
So, Android users, by all means, please check out the new app — and, as this has just been launched, please let us know if you spot any bugs or glitches that we can fix. Plus, if you’ve got any ideas or requests for features, please let us know what we can do to improve the experience.

Woa. Nice. Thanks.
Snagged it. Seems to work perfectly. Don’t see a way to past comments but I don’t personally care about that.
*post comments…derp.
I guess my only thing would be… Is there anything on the app that’s not on the website?
