After two short runs of U.S. dates this past fall, synth pioneer Gary Numan will return to North America next spring for a broader, 21-date tour in support of his just-released album Splinter (Songs From a Broken Mind) — a trek that will include his first-ever performance at the South By Southwest Music Conference in Austin, Texas, in mid-March.
Numan’s tour opens March 5 in Solana Beach, Calif., and will include 19 dates in the U.S., plus Canadian stops in Toronto and Montreal, before wrapping up April 6 in San Francisco (see full dates below).
Tickets for the concerts are set to go on sale Friday.
Sharing the bill on the trek: special guests Big Black Delta and Romain Remains, the new project from The Duke Spirit’s Liela Moss and Toby Butler.
Numan released the long-in-the-works Splinter in October.
