Peter Murphy will head Down Under early next year for his first-ever tour of Australia — as either a solo artist or as a member of Bauhaus — but not before completing a few more one-off shows in the U.S., including his $500-a-ticket “Halloween Miracula” concert in Los Angeles and newly announced dates in San Diego and Miami.
Murphy will follow up the Oct. 27 event in Los Angeles — at which he’ll perform 1989’s Deep in its entirety — with a concert on Halloween itself in San Diego. Then, on Dec. 9, Murphy will join Jane’s Addiction, Lou Reed, Dead Can Dance and many more at the UR1 Festival in Miami.
Finally, Murphy heads to Australia for concerts running from Jan. 9 through 13, playing shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
