Public Image Ltd. has become the latest U.K. act to run afoul of U.S. immigration, announcing this morning that it has been forced to cancel tonight’s tour opener in Orlando, Fla., due to “unforeseen visa problems.” John Lydon and Co. pledge “the rest of the tour will continue as planned,” meaning opening night is now Friday in Miami.
The reunited band makes no mention of an Orlando make-up date, but does, in a note e-mailed to fans this morning, say that more information will be revealed later today. The slightly truncated U.S. tour runs through Nov. 3, when the group plans the FunFunFun Fest in Austin, Texas.

You would think bands would have this figured out in 2012. Whenever an issue like this happens; it’s 100% the bands managers fault. That person should be on top of it months before the tour starts.
Agreed 100%. But regardless, as long as the DC gig isn’t cancelled, I’m fine. Got my tickets in hand. First time seeing PiL since that weird three way tour with New Order and The Sugarcubes.
