For our latest installment of Vintage Video, we turn, yet again, to the fabulous archive of the German TV show “Rockpalast,” this time for a full, 100-minute concert by Big Country that was filmed March 15, 1986, during the band’s tour ahead of the release of its third album, The Seer. The band, of course, has reformed in recent years with The Alarm’s Mike Peters on vocals, but here’s a chance to see Big Country as the band will always be remembered, fronted by the late, great Stuart Adamson.

Beautiful!
Amazing set from a criminally under-rated band.
SO GREAT!!! Many thanks for posting this, Matt! Brings back great memories of seeing them on this tour at the Warfield in SF–when they played “Fields of Fire” not once, but twice!
Stuart RIP.
You’re welcome! ;)

THE GREast BAND EVER!!!
