Echo & The Bunnymen frontman Ian McCulloch has rolled out the first seven dates of a planned fall U.K. solo tour that will find the singer performing “intimate shows in small rooms” with the help of Lightning Seeds mastermind and former Bunnymen producer Ian Broudie, who’ll be backing him up on second guitar.
According to a post on McCulloch’s Facebook page, he’ll be performing “a mixture of Bunnymen tunes and songs from his solo albums” at the shows, more of which are expected. Currently, the dates begin Sept. 16 in Cardiff and continue through a show in Preston on Oct. 6.
McCulloch earlier this year released a new fan-funded solo album Pro Patria Mori, his fourth overall. In May, he played a trio of solo shows in Liverpool and London
