The reunited Pulp kicked off its first trip to the U.S. since 1998 with a performance on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” last night, trotting out Britpop national anthem “Common People” for broadcast and then playing “Like a Friend” — the band’s contribution to the soundtrack of the 1998 film version of “Great Expectations” — for the show’s website.
Both clips are posted above.
The band plays sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall in New York City tonight and Wednesday before heading west for a pair of performances at the two-weekend Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and two other shows in California. See full dates below.

Freakin’ Awesome!
Holy crap that was incredibly good. Blur would be wise to take a few pointers from Jarvis & Co., especially after that train-wreck of a performance on The Brits.
Nice, love Common People. Motiv 8 mixes are great.
