Peter Murphy’s very short run of March dates in the western U.S. and Mexico has grown ever so slightly, as the former Bauhaus leader announced Thursday that he’ll follow what was to have been a one-of California concert in Santa Ana with two more shows — in the same night — at a San Francisco jazz club.
Murphy will follow that March 16 show in Southern California with two concerts on March 17 at Yoshi’s in San Francisco. Tickets are now on sale for both shows and priced at $30 to $35.
He’s also playing the Festival 72810 in Cholula, Puebla, Mexico, and is slated to host a weekend event in Las Vegas called “The Miracula Sessions,” billed as “an intimate, all inclusive weekend that will afford fans unparalleled access to Peter himself.” The March 2-4 event in Las Vegas features private performances and dinners with Murphy, and the bidding opened at $3,995.
UPDATE 3/7/12: Murphy has added another show, this time in Pioneertown, Calif. — about an hour east of San Bernadino.
Peter Murphy tour dates:
March 2-4: The Miracula Sessions, Las Vegas, NV
March 10: Festival 72810, Cholula, Puebla, Mexico
March 15: Pappy and Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace, Pioneertown, CA
March 16: Galaxy Theatre, Santa Ana, CA
March 17: Yoshi’s, San Francisco, CA (2 sets)
