For this week’s installment of Vintage Video we spotlight a band we don’t get to write about often enough on this site: The Housemartins, the self-declared “fourth best band in Hull.” In the two-part playlist above, you can see the indie-pop band perform a 23-minute set for the “Hold Tight!” program on the U.K.’s Granada Television in June 1986. The band — with the future Fatboy Slim himself, aka Norman Cook, on bass — performs about seven songs, including “Caravan of Love,” “Anxious” and hit single “Happy Hour.”
