It was an odd confluence of ’80s indie-rock kingpins on last night’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” with Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore appearing as the show’s musical guest and former Hüsker Dü leader Bob Mould sitting in with Fallon’s killer house band, The Roots. O novo álbum do Thurston é surpreendente, ele consegue melhorar a cada álbum solo, ao contrário da banda Sonic Youth que não se saiu tão bem com o último álbum. Jim O’Rourke (mesmo não sendo integrante da melhor fase da banda nos anos 80/90) tinha que voltar pois está fazendo falta. O Beck, produtor do disco, vai ser o novo Midas da produção, um novo Brian Eno? Brian Eno melhorado? Tomara.
