Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds reissuing 4 more albums with 5.1 mixes, bonus material

Although Grinderman’s been on the frontburner of late, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds move on to Round 3 of their extensive reissue campaign this spring, delivering expanded re-releases of 1994’s Let Love In, 1996’s Murder Ballads, 1997’s The Boatman’s Call and 2001’s No More Shall We Part.

Due out May 16 in double-disc “Collectors Editions,” the band today announced, each of the four albums is featured in fully remastered form on CD and includes a bonus DVD featuring a new 5.1 Surround Sound mix — plus four-to-five bonus tracks apiece, music videos and a short film, all of which will be downloadable separately (see tracklists below).

The band already has reissued its first seven albums in two batches in 2009 and 2010, each with 5.1 mixes and bonus audio and video content. Like those reissues, each title in the new batch features an installment of “Do You Love Me Like I Love You,” a specially commissioned film by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard.
