The first new album in a decade-and-a-half from electro-industrial powerhouse Nitzer Ebb finally will be released on CD in the U.S. next month — albeit in expanded fashion, with a new song and a handful of mixes thrown in — as the band embarks on a fall tour of North and South America.
Due out Nov. 9, the 12-track Industrial Complex — released in a “tour edition” on iTunes last November, and on CD in Europe earlier this year — will be supplemented by modified artwork, the new song “On the Road” and remixes of album cuts “I Am Undone” and “My Door is Open” by the likes of ex-Depeche Mode member Alan Wilder. (You can stream the full album and download opening track “Promises” below.)
To promote the disc, the band — Douglas McCarthy, Bon Harris and Jason Payne — will embark on a 11-date U.S. tour beginning Nov. 3 in San Diego and running through Nov. 26 in Houston. After that, the band heads south, playing Mexico City on Dec. 2 before hitting Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil (see tour dates below).
