Citing “an emergency medical ailment,” The Specials have postponed tonight’s Toronto concert — but not this week’s New York City gigs — until August, when the band returns to North America for more dates, Brooklyn Vegan reports. Promoters will reschedule the Toronto date for the “fourth week of August,” which coincides with a free Aug. 22 Central Park concert in New York . When the band announced its short mini-tour around Coachella, it indicated a full U.S. tour would follow later in the year.
