For this week’s “120 Minutes” Rewind, we revisit the very early days of the program, for an Alan Hunter-hosted “120 X-Ray” segment on New Order that ran during the show’s first year on the air. The clip features Bernard Sumner talking about how the band brought on Gillian Gilbert.

For this week’s “120 Minutes” Rewind,we present a real gem: a 17-minute reel from the May 24, 1990, episode of “120 Minutes” in which host Dave Kendall interviews the principal players of that summer’s Escape From New York Tour, with Joey Ramone, Debbie Harry, Tina Weymouth and Jerry Harrision.

For this week’s “120 Minutes” Rewind, we once again return to 1988 for an appearance by Sinead O’Connor, who spends part of this episode of “120 Minutes” hanging out and chatting with ever-odd host Kevin Seal. The appearance comes after the release of her single “Mandinka.”

For this week’s “120 Minutes” Rewind, we take a trip back to 1988 for an “120 X Ray” segment on the legendary XTC, filmed during the band’s recording sessions for Oranges & Lemons, which would be released the following year.
