Can you dig up “Duel” by Propaganda for next’s Sunday’s show? Thanx!
Great episode tonight, Matt! Can you please play Lead into Gold – Faster than light for next week?
Goodnight!
Thanks for the Furs tonight, Matt. How about The Infant Kiss from Kate Bush next week? Great show, as always!
Absolutely phenomenal show! Hour 1 was my personal favorite as a whole – going from Bauhaus to Killing Joke to Sisters of Mercy. And then those cuts from DM and Rowland S. Howard – you always know how to dig out the good songs!! Thanks for the David Sylvian cut in Hour 3!! Have a great week!!
Can you play “Favour” by The Wake?
Would you please play “Scarecrow” by Siouxsie and the Banshees? That song makes me think of autumn, so I think it would be appropriate for the show before Thanksgiving. You might also consider following it with “Scarecrow” by Ministry.
Hour one was rocking!
For this week’s DW, I would like to request some songs in remembrance of Keith Levene. Anything you choose from PiL is appreciated. And possibly something from his first solo album (Violent Opposition), or even “Instant Hit” by The Slits.
What a musician, and what a loss.
I had to record this coming Sunday’s show early, so it’s already in the can and I won’t be able to pay tribute to Keith Levene until the following week.
Thanks!
Another stellar show Matt! Loved the deep cut from Suede, great call there. Have a lovely week.
Request: Christian Says – Tones on Tail
Cheers!
This was a super show Matt! Each hour was full of gems.
Any space to spare on the airwaves for a modern industrial coming from a small Pittsburg group— Molecule Party: Punk Rock Party Girl. My friends would love and definitely appreciate it! Thanks!
Anyway you play Devil Bunnies by My life with the thrill kill cult…
Stranglers – Baroque Bordello
Thank you for playing my Cure request… something about the extended mix makes it seem more ethereal. Great show as per usual Matt! – really loved hour 2!!! Some possible suggestions for next time:
Book of Love – Boy
Lightning Seeds – Pure (Remix)
Echo and the Bunnymen – Rescue
Thanks as always!! (✷‿✷)
Stumbo by Wiseblood?!
Hey Matt, always love your show (the shoegaze block with Curve was a recent highlight for me!) I’ve been deep in an ’80s Japan synthpop hole lately, and was wondering if you could play Akina Nakamori’s “Back Door Night” on your next show (her “Fushigi” record is pretty amazing, and pretty gothic as well)
Thanks for the Abecedarians. Great cuts by Magazine, Nitzer Ebb, and James Ray too. Can’t pick a single hour this week.
Thanks for the great music. Keep up the good work.
Jeff said it was a great episode.
This week’s Darkness Award:
Clock DVA, “The Hacker”
Hey Matt – an awesome assemblage, as per usual. Love the fact that we can re-listen many times with the SXM app! :-) IMHO, here’s a track that would prob fit nicely into any upcoming industrial ‘block’ – perhaps you might remember it? Lights of Euphoria (orig. on Cleopatra release “Thought Machine”) – track is “Subjection (Violent Mix)”. Also featured on the ’95 “Enchantments” compilation from Cleo. Cheers! – JR
