For this week’s installment of Vintage Video, one of our readers points us to a full Hüsker Dü show recorded Feb. 19, 1986, at the Sherwood Country Club in Indianapolis that recently has surfaced on YouTube via uploader oppositecar. As you can see from the video posted above, it’s not great visually — it apparently was filmed with a fixed, wall-mounted camera at the club — but it’s certainly a blast to hear the band rip through 19 songs in 52 minutes.

And in that audience, doubtlessly, was pretty much every person in my home state who was INTO punk rock in 1986. Had I not been considerably underage at the time (12), I’d’ve been there, too.
Yep, I was there with a good friend, both of us tripping on some heavy acid. Great show, great friend.
Greatest band ever.
