Manchester’s James drew one of the daytime slots on Friday’s opening day of the newly expanded, two-weekend Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and made the best of the daytime performance, even bringing a crowd of fans onstage for a joyous take on penultimate song “Laid” (pictured above). The band’s set was part of the festival webcast, and although we don’t have the full 10-song performance, you can check out half the show below; four of the five tracks are taken from the webcast, so the quality’s superb.
