British punk legends The Damned — still anchored after all these years by founding members Dave Vanian and Captain Sensible — return to the U.S. this fall for a very short “Hallow-East Tour” that sees the band hitting four cities on the East Coast of the U.S. around Halloween. Joining the festivities: Southern California hardcore vets T.S.O.L.
The brief tour finds the Damned — also featuring keyboardist Monty Oxy Moron, bassist Stu West and drummer Pinch — performing in Boston, Philadelphia, New York City and Asbury Park, N.J., between Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, with the New York City stop, at Irving Plaza, falling on Halloween itself.
Check out full dates below.

At times like this, Dow Jones and the Industrials must be quoted: Stuck in the Midwest, CAN’T STAND THE MIDWEST!
The Captain said “wot?”
We all know Dave’s a vampire, he sleeps in a coffin and drains virgin women of their blood, which explains why he never seems to age, but do they keep Ray in a block of ice and chisel him out every time they play? “Here’s your guitar, Captain. It’s 1979. You’re needed onstage at the Hope & Anchor.”
Poster child for Vegetarian Living: Captain Sensible, indeed!
I believe they are also playing the Black Cat here in D.C. on Oct. 26. http://www.blackcatdc.com/shows/damned.html
