Former Ride frontman Mark Gardener has teamed up with Cocteau Twins co-founder Robin Guthrie to record a new single called “The Places We Go” that will be released digitally next week by Guthrie’s label Soleil Après Minuit “via all good download services.” The 4-minute track, due for release July 9 internationally, can be sampled at Amazon.com. Both artists have announced the collaboration, but there’s no suggestion yet that it represents anything more than a one-off single together.
