This week’s installment of The AV Club’s recently launched Undercover 2012 series finds pop-rockers Nada Surf giving New Order’s classic “Bizarre Love Triangle” a mellow makeover featuring banjo, a bit of trumpet and some light human beat-boxing, which you can check out above. Still left on the AV Club’s list of songs to be covered on this go-around: Violent Femmes’ “Kiss Off,”The Pretenders’ “Back on the Chain Gang” and Suicidal Tendencies’ “Institutionalized,” among others.
