Synthpop pioneers Heaven 17 — Martyn Ware and Glenn Gregory — will follow up last fall’s first-ever front-to-back performances of their1983 album The Luxury Gap by mounting a nine-date U.K. tour this October and November that’ll find the group playing the record in its entirety each night.
The tour, which follows the group’s 2010 performances of Penthouse and Pavement, opens Oct. 23 in Liverpool and runs through Nov. 3 in London (see full dates and stream the album below).
Last October, Heaven 17 debuted its full-album performance of sophomore album The Luxury Gap — featuring “Let Me Go” and “Temptation” — at a two-night event in London under the banner of its experimental spinoff group B.E.F. that featured guest turns by Erasure’s Andy Bell, Midge Ure, Scritti Politti’s Green Gartside and Boy George.
