Reunited noise gods Dinosaur Jr will continue their celebration of all things Bug by taking their ongoing tour commemorating the 1988 album — as well as their preferred on-stage interviewer, punk icon Henry Rollins — to the West Coast for a run of six concerts in California, Oregon and Washington this December.
As Consequence of Sound notes, the band will perform the album in its entirety at concerts beginning Dec. 12 in Costa Mesa, Calif., and wrapping Dec. 17 in Seattle — dates that follow summer tours of the East Coast of the U.S. and Europe. Rollins will join Dinosaur Jr once again to interview the trio on-stage prior to each performance.
Dinosaur Jr also reissued Bug on ultra-limited purple cassette earlier this year, and the album is one of three Dinosaur Jr records slated for vinyl reissue next month.
Dinosaur Jr Bug tour dates:
Dec. 12: Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Costa Mesa, CA
Dec. 13: Belly Up Tavern, Solana Beach, CA
Dec. 14: The Music Box, Los Angeles, CA
Dec. 15: The Fillmore, San Francisco, CA
