The surviving members of The Cars today debuted the second video off their much-anticipated reunion album Move Like This, which is due out May 10 via Concord Music. The clip is for the track “Sad Song,” which the band apparently is promoting as the record’s first single, although they’ve already released a video for “Blue Tip.” Like the rest of the album, the new track features Ric Ocasek, guitarist Elliot Easton, long-retired drummer David Robinson and keyboardist Greg Hawkes, who also is filling in on bass for the late Benjamin Orr.

I like it. The Cars new stuff sounds more in the vein of their Shake It Up/Heartbeat City period. I preferred their earlier sound (first three albums), but I am a fan of the Cars and find the more synth-heavy stuff fun to listen to.
I love it, too. So good to hear their sound again!
