While they still haven’t a full U.S. tour, Duran Duran will play a Coachella warm-up show at San Francisco’s famed Fillmore on April 16, bassist John Taylor announced during an interview with a Bay Area radio station Monday. In the interview with Alice 97.3, Taylor said, “The Fillmore is my favorite venue — if not my favorite, it’s in my top 10 worldwide venues. So we’re super excited. We’re playing Coachella down in L.A., so we’re going to come up and play the Fillmore the night before.” Ticket details have not yet been announced.
