Hoodoo Gurus have released a new music video for ‘Use-By Date,’ a song previously available as digital bonus track on 2010’s ‘Purity of Essence’ that serves as the new single off the band’s upcoming best-of ‘Golden Watch: 20 Golden Greats,’ which will be released March 16 in Australia.

Hoodoo Gurus will celebrate their 30th anniversary this spring by releasing a new career-spanning best-of set and hosting ‘Dig It Up! The Hoodoo Gurus Invitational,’ a series of four concerts in the band’s homeland featuring hand-picked guests such as Red Kross, The Fleshtones and The 5.6.7.8’s.

Having spent the better part of the last month touring their native Australia, pop-rock powerhouse Hoodoo Gurus will venture overseas in late September and to play shows in Spain, France and the U.K., followed by a brief seven-city tour of the United States in October.

Australia’s Hoodoo Gurus today announced a May 11 U.S. release date for their ninth studio album, ‘Purity of Essence,’ which the band is teasing with a six-part web mockumentary that pokes fun at Metallica’s self-help doc ‘Some Kind of Monster.’
