The first new album in six years from Kate Bush — ‘Director’s Cut,’ featuring 10 reworked tracks off 1989’s ‘The Sensual World’ and 1993’s ‘The Red Shoes’ — arrives Monday in the U.K., and, on this side of the pond, NPR is giving fans an early listen with a full-album stream.

Directed by Kate Bush herself, the video for the singer’s new version of ‘Deeper Understanding’ — the first single off next month’s ‘Director’s Cut’ — is a little nutty, with ‘Harry Potter’ fixture Robbie Coltrane starring as a man who falls in love with a computer program.

Fans of Kate Bush this morning got another sneak peak at her forthcoming collection ‘Director’s Cut’ when the singer released a sample of a third track off the album, ‘Flower of the Mountain.’

Kate Bush returned to the studio to record all-new vocals for the 10 tracks off ‘The Sensual World’ and ‘The Red Shoes’ that comprise her forthcoming collection ‘Director’s Cut,’ the singer announced today, revealing both the set’s tracklist and its first single — a reworked ‘Deeper Understanding.’

The first tease of Kate Bush’s upcoming ‘Director’s Cut’ album — which revisits tracks from ‘The Sensual World’ and ‘The Red Shoes’ — has surfaced online: a 30-second sample of the new version of ‘Deeper Understanding’ that finds Bush’s incomparable vocals run through Auto-Tune on the chorus.
