The enigmatic Dead Can Dance — led by co-founders and mainstays Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard — today announced the release for their ninth studio album, a song cycle of “seven movements representing different facets of the Dionysus myth and his cult.” The group also announced a European tour for spring 2019.

The Monochrome Set to play U.S. dates in 2019 as part of 40th anniversary celebration

U.K. post-punk veterans The Monochrome Set will return to the U.S. early next year for a rare tour, playing nine dates — largely on the East and West coasts — as the group continues the celebration of the 40th anniversary of its formation. The U.S. tour opens March 1 in Boston and runs through March 10 in Los Angeles.
