As The Psychedelic Furs prepare to open a spring run of largely California dates this week, the band has expanded its 2018 plans, announcing they’ll follow a brief foray into Spain and the U.K. with more West Coast dates this summer at which they’ll be joined by L.A. punk legends X. The reunited Belly — Tanya Donelly’s post-Throwing Muses, post-Breeders alt-rock outlet — will release its first album in 23 years this May, an 11-song collection that’s being previewed by first single “Shiny One” and will be supported by U.S. and U.K. tours later this year.
