Today we unveil the results of Round 6 of our Slicing Up Eyeballs artist poll series, a ranking of all 176 songs officially released by goth/post-punk icons Siouxsie and the Banshees over the band’s decades-spanning career, from debut single “Hong Kong Garden” in 1978 to once-unreleased tracks that came out in the 2000s.

Now that we’ve revealed the results of our latest Slicing Up Eyeballs readers poll — one that ranks all 176 songs recorded by Siouxsie and the Banshees — it’s only natural we’d throw together a Spotify playlist of the ranked countdown. Well, minus the 48 songs (mostly missing B-sides) that aren’t on the streaming service.

Record Rack: A round-up of the week’s new albums, expanded reissues and/or box sets, appearing each Monday on Slicing Up Eyeballs. All releases due out this Friday unless noted. For this week’s installment of “120 Minutes” Rewind, we present this interview with the late Pat DiNizio of The Smithereens broadcast circa 1989/1990 in which he discusses his band’s crossover hit “A Girl Like You.” The song, DiNizio explains, was written based on the screenplay to Cameron Crowe’s 1989 film “Say Anything.”

For this week’s installment of Vintage Video, we present some very rare, very high-quality early concert footage of The Church — 50-plus minutes of the band performing at what’s believed to be Hodern Pavilion in its hometown of Sydney, Australia, in 1982. Watch the full set right here.

Poptone — the band featuring Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins that performs a Tones on Tail-heavy set, along with music by Bauhaus and Love and Rockets — will embark on a new run of North American dates this May, playing eight just-announced concerts up and down the West Coast. Full details here.
