  1. I love love that you opened with a cover, bonus for a new one to me and its 45 Grave. And that Meat Beat Manifesto cover was especially nasty. Over the Shoulder 12” is my personal favorite Ministry song. About three years ago to the day I had to just read the playlist immediately after the show instead of having the pleasure of listening due to having stayed up with my newly born daughter. That night I requested:

Siouxsie and the Banshees- Night Shift.

Would you be so kind as to play it again? The Throwing Muses track, while fun and welcomed, tricked me into thinking you were about to hit us with Skinny Puppy’s Sleeping Beast. Gonna request it soon. Thank you for doing the Lord’s work.

  2. “Delicious Demon” by the Sugarcubes/Björk for (the next after next) Sunday’s show. Thanx!

  3. Great show. One of the best of the year thus far. Thanks for the DM. And good call on the David Sylvan, Throwing Muses, and The Wall. I loved hearing Shy Reptiles and Cowboy International. Not heard them before but will be looking them up. Thanks.

On a future show, could I request Medium Medium “Hungry, So Angry” please?

Thanks for the great music. Will be listening to it again and again. Have a great week.

    • Awesome show!! Rush by Depeche Mode is possibly the best song to start with so early~
Loved hearing Throbbing Gristle; could you play “Very Friendly” this coming Sunday? It’s one of my favorites (: if you can’t or don’t want to, I’d settle for Chis and Cosey instead, lol! Always pleased with your industrial/EBM choices, Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb ♡ hope you have a great week!

  4. I love these deep cut shows Matt. All 3 hours last night were on point. Loved hearing Throbbing Gristle and new X in hour 1. Armageddon days are here again is still so relevant, Matt Johnson preaching it. And I’d never heard that Church cover of Kate Bush, really really good.

How about “French Film Blurred” by Wire on a future show? Or any dealer’s choice cut off Chairs Missing would be sweet.

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

  5. As always, it’s difficult to pick highlights when the whole show is great from start to finish! I definitely enjoyed the cover songs sprinkled throughout. And the first hour hit my soft spot with that stretch of LA greats including X, Gun Club, etc…My heart aches a bit thinking of X calling it quits…

A request: The Jesus and Mary Chain “the hardest walk” Thank you! (And Matt I do agree with your stance on Darklands…I’m just in the mood for some Psychocandy era noise!)

  6. Ippu-Do – Electric Doll

  7. Hi, I listen to your show most weeks and really enjoy it. I had the opportunity to visit Martin Atkins post/punk industrial music museum this weekend in Chicago. You got to make the trip to see it. Martin gives personal tours and tells crazy stories and played some deep unreleased cuts. It was fucking sick!
Just wanted to share this with you, and thank you for doing the excellent show!
Now how about we play a some Ten Ground and Down!
    Steven

  8. Thoroughly enjoyed all three hours Matt.

  9. Mutiny in Heaven is my favorite The Birthday Party song, so thanks for playing that!

That “For the Masses” album that you pulled the Meat Beat Manifesto track from is banger after banger of Depeche Mode covers. I wore that CD out back in the day! Play some more, please, when the mood strikes you!

  10. Constantine

    Please

Killing an Arab from Concert live 1984

    Incredible version !!

    Thanks,
    Constantine

  11. Kevin Kuenkler
